Introducing: DJ and Beginner: DJ are the first two levels in this definitive new learning pathway on DJing from introductory through to professional standard, developed by PLAYvirtuoso in collaboration with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (the leading awarding organisation for digital & face-to-face music exams in the UK) and celebrated DJ and BBC Radio 6 Music resident Jamz Supernova.

In a watershed moment for the accessibility of modern music education, courses are available now for free through our unique course on Spotify partnership to all UK users and globally at PLAYvirtuoso. Completing the courses gives all participants the skills to take the Level 1 equivalent digital assessment, awarded by ABRSM and live now at PLAYvirtuoso, promising real learning outcomes to everyone.
As well as mastering the fundamentals of equipment setup and core technical skills, in these two courses Jamz Supernova teaches more advanced performance and mixing techniques, set planning and structuring, and explores different areas that DJing can take you. Through her club nights, radio shows, Future Bounce label and successful DIY Handbook & Between The Lines podcasts, Jamz has long been a tireless champion of new talent, constantly elevating different communities and new artists through her platforms.
