About the live session
In this highly interactive session, Elijah (Butterz), joins us on the Virtuoso Stage to give a live workshop on management, using his popular ‘Daily Ideas’ as seen on Instagram. Attendees are invited to prepare their own questions about the music industry ahead of the session and bring them to the discussion. Elijah manages Flava D, who we're pleased to announce will be joining the session as a special guest.
BONUS: All attendees can send track demos to Flava D for feedback after the session.

As the main interface between an artist and everybody else, an artist manager’s role can include creative direction and advice, business & legal affairs, personal support, tour management and much more. This session will answer questions such as:
- What sort of support and management do I need?
- How can I find and pitch to a manager?
- How to know if management is working for me?
- How do managers get paid?

About the teacher
Elijah is a manager for Royal-T, DJ Q, Flava D and Swindle, as well as co founder of the Butterz record label. He shares insights about art and the music industry on Instagram and Twitter daily.
Since starting her musical career making Grime beats for rappers like Wiley, Flava D has become a giant in the scene of UK Bass music. Her Grime, UK Garage, Bassline and Drum and bass tracks have filled dance floors around the globe throughout the past decade. With releases on Crucast, Night Bass, Hospital Records, Butterz Recordings and Formula Records, Flava D has enjoyed a multi-genre career that has seen success in many corners of the Bass music world.
