About the live session
In our first industry live session of 2022, we have renowned music lawyer Richard Hoare of Hoare Associates leading a session on the Virtuoso Stage.
In this session, Richard will focus on some of the essential legal matters and areas of music law of most relevance to new artists, with invaluable advice for all attendees on best practice, while highlighting some of the common pitfalls to avoid. From ‘do I need a music lawyer?’ to ‘how can I access advice & what resources are out there?’
This session will look at the first steps in engaging with music law, from collaborator and co-writer/co-producer agreements to the kind of label or rights holder deals that new artists might encounter.
This is an interactive session limited to 40 front row spaces. Register now to guarantee your place. Note: to attend this session you must use the Chrome or Safari browser, using a laptop, tablet or smartphone, with a working microphone and webcam.
