Swindle

Few producers in the UK scene have been able to continuously connect the dots between sounds quite like Swindle. In a city where the sounds are as much of a melting pot as the people who create them are hyper connected as ever before, the South London-native has consistently pushed the boundaries in a scene where the lines between genres are becoming far less visible.

Swindle’s presence in the UK’s scene is felt by the artists who have had the producer grace their records with his soulful and jazz inclinations. Over the years, he has worked with a range of artists and musicians including, Ghetts, Kojey Radical, Mahalia, Greentea Peng, Goldie, TQD & more. And judging by that list, there isn’t one pocket of sound that Swindle can ever be confined to.

What you'll learn

Swindle guides us through his signature production style and collaborative process. With a truly unique approach to production and a deep experience of working with some of the hottest artists, Swindle is an expert in his field. He breaks down how to produce music for vocals, record live instruments, work with session musicians, network and more. Swindle uses Logic Pro to record, produce, and arrange his tracks along with a handful of his favourite plugins. However, all everything in the course can be done using any music production software and stock plugins.

This course will teach you:

  • How to connect with artists and forge working relationships
  • Essential remote collaboration techniques to help streamline your process
  • How to prepare for a studio session to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible
  • How to arrange and record session musicians for the best, most authentic sound
  • How to manipulate and process live recordings to make them fit modern production standards
  • How Swindle used these techniques in his most popular tracks
